I interviewed at an FSAE competition and they thought I was a strong candidate. Stayed in contact with recruiter over the summer and interviewed on site. They followed with a lunch and campus tour. Overall experience was nice, they paid for all travel and lodging. Just interviewed so do not know if I got the position or not. All behavioral questions.

Question 1
Most innovative solution to a problem, how you went about it, etc.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Ford Motor Company (Dearborn, MI) in Nov 2025
Interview
Interview process was good, but a little stale as it was at the end of the day. It was clear they have 4 HR questions they must ask you, From there its loose for whatever you want to talk about.

Question 1
Do you have an example of a time you faced an issue and how did you resolve it. What would you change to prevent that from happening again.
I applied through university. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Ford Motor Company in Dec 2014
Interview
Applied through university, got first round interview within a week and then 3 months before second round in Michigan.
The first round interview was mostly behavioral, i.e. how do you handle certain situations, and some relevant background questions if you've had experience in the industry before.
Second round was on the Ford campus and was with three managers/supervisors in the department you would be working in. Two phases, behavioral and technical. Technical is not how much you know about cars or academics but rather about what technical skills you have, e.g. coding, modeling etc. They give you time at the end to ask questions or give any other information about yourself you think would help you stand out.
