The business uses a psychometric test, which shouldn't be a part of any welcoming working environment. They also didn't mention there would be one on the job spec.
The owners also expect fully in-office all year round, which isn't a good way to get great work out of writers (a noisy office every day of the week?). The on-site rule is during a major cost of living crisis, but the lack of hybrid generally promotes a poor work-life balance.
Alongside interviews for this I had ones for roles that were fully remote, a 4 day working week, and hybrid. This should be industry standard.
