An external recruiter called me on the phone. After I expressed my interest in the position, he set up a phone screen with the hiring manager. The phone screen went pretty well and I was invited on-site. The hiring manager asked about testing methodologies while the other three people gave me coding problems.
Throughout the process, the recruiter was very helpful and gave me useful notes on what to expect. The only reason the interview wasn't a "positive" experience is that the company never got back to me. The recruiter contacted them to ask for feedback but didn't get a response either. We decided to move on as it didn't look like they were going to present an offer.
