I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Flow Engineering in Oct 2025
Interview
Applied online, got an initial 45 minute call with an engineer, all behavioural type questions. Some Qs are a bit more probing than standard HR stuff (like in the book Talent by Cowen and Gross), and I guess they are also interested to see how keen you are on the companies mission. I didn't get past this stage, but I appreciate this was an extremely rare company I applied to where the interviewer actually gave me some feedback instead of the dreaded canned rejection from a noreply.

Question 1
What is one thing you recently changed your opinion on?
I had a recruiter screen followed by a coding round where I solved the problem efficiently and implemented it. The interviewer seemed happy with my approach, yet I was rejected the next day due to “not great” coding feedback. The experience felt misleading and like a waste of time.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Flow Engineering (London, England) in Oct 2019
Interview
The interview process has 3 parts: Behavioural screening, Technical test on HackerRank and an in-person interview.
Overall it was very smooth. The company doesn't have much information online, but they are very helpful and explanatory when you ask for more information about the company and the technology.
They were also very supportive on difficult time schedules and very attentive.
Unfortunately, I didn't pass the last interview stage at the company, but it was great to meet the team and get to see a bit more about their technology. I will definitely apply in the future if I can.
