I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Flipkart
Interview
I got a call from the HR for the opening of the manager role in Flipkart. I was told I would be getting a call. However, at the last moment, HR calls me up that the interview needs to be rescheduled to the next day. I was fine with it
The next day I get a call from the manager 20 mins late from the slotted time. To my surprise, he was taking the interview while driving on his way back home.
The interview hardly lasted 10 mins. Where he gave me the background about the role(7 mins) & I discussed with him about my background & career aspirations (2-3 mins) . No further question. Interview completed.
This interview experience has left a very bad impression of flipkart. This clearly demonstrates Flipkart does not value candidates time , a disrespect toward a candidates effort.
A very disturbing experience
It will be of 3 round interview- 2 technical & 1 HR round. smooth & faster process. 1st round is of 30 Mins & 2nd round is of 20 Mins. The questions related to previous experiences & few problem solving scenarios in real life projects
The entire process is extremely lengthy and can easily take up to two months or sometimes even more, which many people find very frustrating and exhausting. If you are someone who values quick responses and faster turnaround times, this may not be the right option for you because patience is absolutely necessary throughout. The waiting period itself can test your motivation, and the lack of timely updates adds to the difficulty. Therefore, it is strongly recommended that you only go ahead if you have sufficient time available and are mentally prepared to wait patiently for the response without rushing.
Asked about previous experience from last company where you worked. Why you want to join Flipkart. Why you want to leave current job. Education qualification. Leadership skills that use in previous experience.
