The process began with a phone interview where I was asked some screening questions that every software engineer should know. The company was described to me, from both their technical state/goals, and the state of the business side. It's a start-up, which appealed to me because I like the small team, and watching the product and feedback develop every day. After passing the phone interview, I was brought in for an on-site interview with a mix of technical and business people. They interviewed me one at a time which took the pressure off. I originally interviewed for an Android position, but I was offered the position of video engineer (writing video-related code) as it was a better fit. I had no idea they had such a position! I've been working here for a few weeks and I love it.
