I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at FlightAware in May 2024
Interview
Meeting with recruiter went as expected and was moved onto the Technical Interview. Tech interview was delivered as a voice only zoom, but interviewer was late and was unable to get zoom to work so had to use a time limited session, which we had to reconnect to several times during the 90 mins.

Question 1
all the questions were string manipulation, 1) Reverse a string, 2) Remove non alpha numerics from a string, 3) if a list of numbers has a repeat return true if not return false, 4) given a file of rows, parse and count the number of occurances of each value in a given row. Simple algorithmic problems really. Weird thing was that the interviewer was completely quiet, felt like coding in a room with a glass wall.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at FlightAware (Houston, TX) in Oct 2019
Interview
Fast and very responsive interview process! The interview was 3 steps. Technical on phone interview, onsite coding interview and then interview with execs. You submit your information through Http, which I guess is a good filter. Really good and passionate technical team. Had great technical interview but when it came down to execs I didn't connect with them very well.
It was normal process. They take phone interview and ask you to basic coding on google docs. Difficulty level increases with each questions. You can code in any laguage you like.
