I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Flexton in Dec 2025
Interview
I had a first-round technical interview through Flexton, and unfortunately it was by far one of the worst interview experiences Iâve had.
The problem itself was a standard LeetCode-style question and not particularly difficult. However, the interviewerâs behavior made the experience uncomfortable. He required me to share my entire screen and even questioned my default camera settings, asking me to open my laptop display settings, which felt unnecessarily invasive.
During the problem-solving portion, he repeatedly interrupted me with unsolicited comments. Less than five minutes in, he said I was âtaking longer than expected.â Throughout the interview, I was trying to explain my thought process, but he completely ignored me and continued making condescending remarks such as âItâs been x minutes and you still havenât solved itâ and âHave you been practicing LeetCode?â These interruptions made it difficult to focus and created an adversarial atmosphere.
Overall, the interview felt extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. I hope Flexton reviews this feedback and improves the conduct and training of their interviewers.
Recruiter reaches out on linkedin, calls you about 5 times unsolicited. Calls you 2 hours before the interview time to remind you about your interview.
Join the call, guy asks u to disconnect all ur monitors, show ur surroundings, gives you a question without understanding any javascript himself, doesn't say anything as you implement it, no feedback, nothing. Had the same experience with this company a year prior, got the same interviewer this time so it's clear they might only have this one terrible interviewer.
Smooth and comfortable interview process for both frontend and backend skills.
Technical round with Flexton, then technical round with client, will get result very quick.
Very good interview process. They will provide very good opportunities for different clients.
