Applied via career website and was reached out by a recruiter over the weekend. Had a very pleasant interview with the recruiter, simple tell me about yourself questions, etc. Next, was a case study which is pretty straightforward (some questions about fright forwarding). The recruiter then gave me an exercise, which was also not bad at all.
Eventually met the team which composed of three people in mid to high level managers. Thought I did great, but was not offered the position.
Advice:
-make sure you come across as passionate for Flexport and not the industry as a whole.
-you do have to front your own money to get to the office. If you don't live in the bay area, it might cost a good amount to get there. I had to pay ~$300 just to get there and not get an offer.
Good luck!
