I applied online. I interviewed at Flex-N-Gate (Toronto, ON) in Aug 2024
Interview
It was challenging and good! The entire process was efficient and professional. I felt like there was a good culture from the start. I accepted another offer with a competing firm, but reflect on this experience positively.

Question 1
Tell me about yourself and what is your motivation for applying.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Flex-N-Gate (Lansing, MI) in Jun 2019
Interview
Interview process seemed to go great. Received positive feedback and was brought in for a second interview with the entire leadership team and had a tour of the facility.
We discussed compensation and next steps and then I never heard back from anyone. After 3 weeks, I received an email from the plant manager that I was still being considered and would hear something back the following week. Never heard anything back.
Clearly they need some HR leadership to guide the interview process along and provide follow up to candidates. I feel like I dodged a bullet with this company because they didn't communicate effectively during the interview process, so I'm assuming things are not better when you are hired in.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Asked a lot of questions about how to motivate employees to do their jobs.
I applied online. I interviewed at Flex-N-Gate (Beaverton, ON) in Feb 2018
Interview
Process was long. Began in February. It is now June. They keep stringing along candidates and ghosting. Very unprofessional. Asked questions unrelated to job posting. When asked for follow-up they keep saying yes we are considering you but they do not follow-up with you. They just keep stringing you along. Worst interview experience ever. Clearly they have no experience in recruitment.
