I would describe the interview process as supportive. The team in charge of interviewing offered help along the way and were very open about the process. The manager in charge was present communicative throughout each step.
Laid back interview, still waiting for a response back but was all personality questions and how you approach situations. It was low stakes and a much more casual interview than I was expecting.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What was a setback you experienced and how did you overcome it?
Short and sweet. Usually with the manager and then the owner. Lasted about 30 minutes. They really wanted to know if you were able to be a normal human being and connect to the people shopping there.
I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Fleet Feet (New York, NY) in Apr 2025
Interview
It was a 30 min general conversation about my background, interest in running, and why I'm interested in the position. I was not tested on shoe knowledge. I think showing interest in the sport and helping people are the most important aspects.
