As requested by a requiter, I scheduled an interview a week out. Hours prior to the call they canceled on me after taking time off work. This school is so disorganized they can't professionally cancel an interview with proper notice. I was first contacted by FlatIron on LinkedIn. The recruiter advised to apply online then schedule time on their calendar. The night before I get an email saying my application had been denied. I email the interviewer asking that night if we are still on to talk the next day. HOURS prior to the interview the recruiter sends a short email saying sorry we don't want to go further...but want to stay in touch? So I had planned a week prior time off in my work schedule and life. This school is so disorganized they can't professionally cancel an interview before it happens. All they need to do is look at the resumes in a timely fashion. Don't ask people to talk then go lol oopsie an hour before. We have lives.

There is a phone interview then technical interview. The phone interview went well. Despite this, when it came time for the technical interview. It seems the interviewer had an agenda. They kept asking about a project that isn't listed on my resume and when I wanted to speak on a different project. They said sure. I start to talk about an actual project listed on my resume, I'm cut off several times to circle back on a project not listed on my resume. Of course someone is going to get choked up when asked about something they didn't work on nor is it listed in their credentials. No one can answer a question to something they didn't do. I come to find out they only really recruit from their pool or alumni and students.
