The interview process felt unprofessional and very vague. I asked multiple people I interviewed with to describe their work, typical client base, and marketing goals as a company. No one could give me a straight answer about what services they provide or their usual workflow to navigate client projects. One interview was via Zoom. The interviewer was 12 minutes late and tried to tell me I was the one who wasn't ready on time, when I'd been in the waiting room at least 5 minutes early and notified the host. He was clearly using Zoom via his phone and was distracted, as he was walking around during the interview. It's clear their focus is on recruiting more sales associates to make money, not providing meaningful business and marketing solutions to clients. I hate to say it, but they sounded and looked like a pyramid scheme. I was offered a position on a Friday afternoon and told them thank you and I'd let them know by the end of the day on Monday (i.e. about 2 business days) my decision. They had the owner of the company call me on Saturday to try to convince me to take the offer. It felt strange. They also ask you during the interview directly if you're willing to work weekends, as they take time off during the regular work week instead. Again, this seems counterintuitive for a regular, legitimate marketing agency. Interview candidates, beware. Don't be afraid to ask them the questions you'd ask any other structured marketing agency. Their lack of answers told me everything I needed to know.
