I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Fiserv
Interview
30 mins. Logical reasoning and Q/A about projects and programming knowledge such as OOPs etc. Basically wanted to see if I can learn things quickly, since this was an entry level position. They also asked about my internship.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They mainly asked about my college projects and my programming knowledge. Mostly theoretical. Scanned my GitHub. This was for an entry-level position right out of college.
Chill interview process, 2-3 rounds talking to principal engineer for that team and recruiters, sometimes people have to talk to PMs too. Very friendly and conversational interview and felt like the guy had a genuine interest in getting to know me as a person and for my skills.
I applied online. I interviewed at Fiserv (Alpharetta, GA) in May 2026
Interview
A 30-minute call with a recruiter, then a final panel interview with two senior data engineers. The first one was more behavioral and experience I have. The panel interview was very technical about my resume and a SQL problem to finish.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
My experience with sql and a sql problem to solve live.
The interview process at Fiserv typically starts with an online application and resume screening, followed by a coding assessment with easy-to-medium problems on topics like arrays, hash maps, and strings. If you pass, you move to one or two technical interviews where you solve problems and explain your thinking, along with some behavioral questions about teamwork and past projects. The process usually ends with a final behavioral or hiring manager round, focusing on fit and communication skills.
