I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at FirstLine Schools (New Orleans, LA) in Jul 2023
Interview
For my position it was a 3-part interview. First was the initial/traditional interview where my employer asked why was I interested in the job, my goals as an educator, how do I see myself in this role. The 2nd part was to create my ideal class schedule along with scheduling a meeting with my director at one time and in-putting an I.E.P meeting with a parent at another time. The 3rd part was another question and answer type interview. The overall process was smooth, but definitely you had to show "what you know".

Question 1
How do I handle a student not wanting to participate in the program anymore?
informal and casual, information, positive, pleasant, conversational. there is a need for teachers and it is especially apparent here in the state of Louisiana. In my experience they will not make it difficult for you. I appreciated that.

Interview
It was a great interview. I loved every minute of it. It was great to talk to teachers and principals. Got the chance to talk to them and ask them questions also when I got the chances. They are all about opportunity.
