      Recruiting Coordinator Interview

      29 Jun 2016
      Anonymous interview candidate
      San Francisco, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at First Republic (San Francisco, CA) in May 2016

      Interview

I had a very basic phone screen. The interviewer didn't seem engaged at all; in fact it really seemed like she was just reading off a list of questions rather than having a real conversation. I was told at the end that she was moving me forward to the hiring manager who would let me know soon what next steps would be. I never heard back. As someone who has done this for a living that is appalling practice. It is unacceptable to not at the very least send a rejection email once someone has been interviewed. I've had many wonderful interviews so I believe its possible to handle it properly. Its ironic really that they are trying to hire someone for this type of roll but mishandled it so greatly. Clearly they need it more than they realize.
