This was a pre-screen interview and it was 15 minutes long. They asked me questions to see if I match with the position. They also ask me some technical question.

Interview
Interviewed with a couple of contractors that were apparently heading up development at the time. Lots of discussion around development, including their language of choice and various other environmental issues.

Question 1
I asked them what version control system they used. They said none. I asked if they would consider using one. They said it wasn't secure.
I think they didn't get the job because they knew that as soon as I came in with real SDLC knowledge, their contracts would be terminated. They gave some excuse about not having enough experience, despite working professionally in the field for over 20 years, and with their language of choice (perl) for over 15.
If they still aren't using a version control system, whether git or otherwise, run, don't walk, away.
