I applied online and was contacted almost immediately. The first interview was onsite which was a complete waste of everyone's time given the experience level and salary evident from resume and application was too high level for the experience of not only the firm but employee team with one exception. The team explained the person who was doing the role who was on interview panel is moving into management role however explained the program was grass roots. The program is in still in infancy after a year but this person is being promoted spoke volumes. They did not explain what progress they have made and what expectations are for next chapter but asked me my approach so addressed professionally and honestly.
I receive voicemail message from hiring manager that i was excellent candidate with vast experience but they will continue to interview as their program direction may not align with mine. Newsflash! you have no direction that is why you need experienced manager with technical and continuity background that has implemented holistic program.
Do not interview and insult people who have been successful in this role when you have not built one yourselves.
