The manager did something I've never had happen before, he came to me at my previous job and waited for me to finish my shift and the car I was working on. While an unusual interview it gave me reason to believe in and trust him for willing to go out of his way to get me hired.
The store manager is nice and gentle! Have a great conversation and show me the store. After that, talk about the salary pay and what benefits they provide. At last, get an offer after several days.

Interview
Rigorous interrogation about knowledge of vehicle suspension/brakes, drivetrain systems with 4 employees; GM, service manager, floor technicians. Trick questions, answered with general garage know how and customer service attitude and culpability. Interview concluded with friendly discussion of craziest things we ever had to fix resulting in immediate job offer from a company with a location that knows absolutely what they are doing.

Interview
20 minute interview talking about your experience about all the things you know how to do mechanically and the manager explains to you the working hours and gives you a brief description of your own position and what is expected of you as a team. Then after the interview is over, the manager tells you when you will be taking a drug test and when the background check clears. That is about all that happens during the interview.
