Interview
I was interested in Firefly because of the people I've met in the field at conferences & events. The people I met in the beginning of the process were great (Engineers, VP of sales & CS manager) but then I met the CEO. He is very full of himself and had to remind me how smart he was and how incredible his company was. His questions were very basic and showed signs he had very little knowledge of GTM. This position isn't worth the very low OTE they are offering for having to deal with this CEO. People I interviewed with had left the company before I completed the hiring process.

Very Basic Questions: How do you handle objections? How do you handle technical questions? Very limited for a final interview.

Interview
I interviewed at Firefly -after extensive interviews where they stressed the importance of an experience hire, they hired someone with no experience in software sales. Then they shared private information with 3rd parties that hurt my reputation, potentially false information. This may have been in retaliation for accusations of Age Discrimination.

Question 1
What products have you championed for Sales Development.
Phone screen, hiring manager (VP) round, another round after that. Phone screen was innocuous and run of the mill. The hiring manager hadn’t been in her role very long and she seemed insecure and honestly immature. Very judgmental and perhaps ageist. She didn’t seem to want to hire anyone with more experience than she had and it didn’t seem like she was collaborative.
Didn’t end up moving on after the hiring manager interview but believe it’s for the best.
