I interviewed with the talent team, the hiring manager and then the VP. While everyone I spoke with was professional, I never received any feedback or an update on the outcome of my application.
After investing time in multiple interview stages, I would have appreciated the courtesy of a response, even if it was simply to let me know I hadn’t been selected. A lack of communication after several interviews leaves a poor impression.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The interview process was weighted toward standard behavioural questions (“tell me about a time when…”). While those have their place, the format felt quite rigid for a role that, in reality, tends to be far more dynamic and often nuanced in practice.
In my experience, commercial roles rarely play out in neatly structured examples, so a more open, scenario based discussion would have been a better reflection of the day to day reality of the role.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Fireblocks (Tel Aviv-Yafo) in Jun 2026
Interview
There were 2 rounds of interviews, a leetcode question and an architecture question. The interviewers were very arrogant, with very high egos. They were looking for a way to trip me up and ask questions that were not necessarily related to the job interview itself. As soon as we spoke in small talk and they realized that I was peripheral, they changed their position very quickly.
First I've had a phone call with the hiring manager, then a technical interview with him and a developer in the team. After that there was home assignment followed by a call to explain the solution I had. Lastly on the technical side there was an interview with the group lead. The last interview was HR.
