      Staff Auditor Interview

      5 Mar 2014
      Anonymous employee
      Cincinnati, OH
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Fifth Third (Cincinnati, OH) in Sept 2011

      Interview

On-Campus interviews. Pre-night (definitely attend). A lot of on-campus events. They definitely want to see the same faces over and over to ensure interest in programs. On-Site interviews are pretty chill. Usually senior manager and above with an Associate panel later in day. On campus interviews are a few weeks before the on-sites. If you don't send a thanks email to both interviewer and HR rep, you'll probably not get called back. They love hand written thank you cards, so send one of those as well, in fact have it already written before your interview and fill in a few blanks and mail it right after the interview. Cool cool.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

they were all pretty much behavior based questions. they weed out the people that don't cut by reviewing resumes and these meet and greet events. Don't expect to be asked to prepare a FCFF DCF model, but definitely learn how to do that trash - its pretty cool.

      Interview

Easy, to the point. Very quick and straightforward. Management was nice and helpful throughout the process. Was constantly informed of next steps. The offer came right after my interview and was exactly what was expected.

      Interview

Interviewed on campus and they had canned questions to ask which were not overly difficult or far fetched. They brought me back for another round of interviews with more senior management in the audit department at the headquarters with more of the same canned questions that were not overly difficult, but did allow you to sell yourself
