I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Fender Musical Instruments
Interview
Discussions with tech team were ok, they seem to be lifers with no real interest in elevating themselves through their craft. The real insight was after talking to various project managers (everybody is one !) you get the feeling that the pms are a bunch of clock watchers complaining about the tech teams not finishing their work on time, etc.. (there seems to be some kind of war)
Can't show ambition or you're not going to pass the interview...

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Fender Musical Instruments (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2021
Interview
1 recruiter screen. My recruiter pretty much set me up for failure with a whole “this is kismet” spiel. 1 HM screen. 1 on-site with each of the for interviews on different days. 1) semi technical 2) QA 3) design 4) PMs. Didn’t get any feedback until I emailed them 4+ times. Not sure what they’re looking for but F the recruiter for getting my hopes up.
