The selection process began with an initial shortlisting based on eligibility criteria, followed by an aptitude assessment that tested logical reasoning, quantitative ability, and verbal skills. Upon clearing the aptitude round, I was invited for a personal interview. The interview was moderately challenging and leaned more toward understanding my personality and motivation rather than technical knowledge. Since I come from a technical background, one of the key questions was why I was interested in a role at Federal Bank rather than pursuing a traditional technical or IT job. I explained my interest in exploring roles that offer a blend of analytical thinking, customer interaction, and business exposure, along with the opportunity to work in a structured and reputable organization like Federal Bank. The panel also asked general HR questions about my background, strengths, and long-term goals to assess my cultural fit and clarity of thought.
