I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at FedEx (Cookeville, TN) in Oct 2014
Interview
The inbound management, which is where I started, were great. They had respect for their employees and the interview process itself was very easy. The most time consuming part was waiting for the return of your background check. After that it was about a week and I was working. Very simple questions, why do you want to work here? Why should we how you? Etc etc. The presort (glimpse of the specified job) was a bit unnecessary. They have you show up at 445am to watch what you will be doing, you are there for 15 minutes and sent home no pay.
Interview process for package handlers isnt even an interview process. You just apply. Get in. Go to orientation. Start wokring within a week. If you want to be promoted to trainer, then you need an actual interview
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They dont even ask. They just send you an email youve been approved and they give you a date for orientation
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at FedEx (Livonia, MI) in Aug 2015
Interview
I signed up for the sort observation. Went in at 4:30a they showed us around for about 30mins then told us they will email the Application. I filled it out that same morning when I got home. It was a Fri when I went to the sort. That following Wednesday they called me for an interview the next morning. Very simply quick 2 min interview mostly yes or no questions. They told me that the have to run my background and once it comes back they'll call for orientation. Two weeks later they called and told me they want me to start the next day.
