I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Fathom (California) (Seattle, WA) in Feb 2018
Interview
The process had many steps and started with a video interview that you have to record the answers to a set of questions. This seems like a lot to ask considering video editing was not a skill required for the job. My process was very drawn out I believe because they were stalling for time to get more candidates. The HR department was very attentive though in keeping me updated. I did end up getting an offer.

Interview
First process, the sent an email saying they were very interested and wanted to set up a phone interview with just the HR. First time, the HR did not call at the scheduled time nor did they contact me. I was very disappointed, as I really wanted to work for this company. Weeks pass, and finally got an email saying they want a phone call again. I figured I'd give them a second chance because people do get busy. And the call ended up coming through, even though they were late. Phone call lasted from 20-40mins.
Hope this helps! Good luck!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
No specific questions, just wanted to learn about your personality and characteristics. Had a couple questions about the job position itself, but nothing technical. After the first call, if you made it through they would set you up to have another call with the lead engineer. Once you get through the lead engineer, and pass with flying colors they would offer you the job.

Interview
I had a phone interview and then went in for an in-house interview. To me it seemed like they were being really dishonest and avoiding a lot of my questions. The HR person was incredibly condescending. After the in-house interview I pretty much decided I did not want to work there, but wanted to see how far I could get through the interview process. They told me they'd need a response from me within 24 hours of getting a job offer. When I said I needed a week, they treated me like I was asking for some ridiculously long period of time. The HR person literally asked me, "Are you really going to spend every minute of the next 7 days contemplating this job offer." When I told her I was waiting to hear back from somewhere else, she basically rescinded any possibility of a job offer. It felt like they were trying to rope me in as fast as they could before I realized it was a terrible idea to work there. They also insisted that I would need a car for the position, but didn't want to pay me enough that I felt like I'd be able to afford a good/reliable car. I originally applied for the "production technician" job, but when I first interviewed, they said it was a field technician role that would require me to work at their customer's locations 2-3 days a week, which wasn't in the original description. It seemed like their HR department was just looking out for upper-management and not their employees interests as a whole. After reading through glassdoor reviews, it seems like this is about on par with other people's experiences. Overall, it was an unpleasant process.
