I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Fastenal (Jacksonville, NC) in Dec 2016
Interview
The interview process was very straight forward. I met with the general manager first, then the district manager second. Both were fairly short processes and the environment was very comfortable. They make sure that all of your questions are answered before the interview is over.

Question 1
like how do yoy know about the company and what we offer. And I thoughtn it went smoothly.
Phone interview with recruiter then in person interview with GM and AM. First "question" was the GM pushing a copy of the job description at me and asking me to read it because he wanted to make sure I knew what job I applied to because he thought maybe it was a mistake. Humiliating experience.
