Had a phone call with the founder and met with both him and a sales rep regarding the position. Was asked to prepare several ideas for marketing prior to the meeting. It became apparent about half way through that the position was largely unclear in their minds. I was asked questions that not knowing their software made it difficult to respond. I enjoyed meeting with both of them, but was quite surprised they were just now hiring for such an important position. I left the meeting very lukewarm about taking on such a large role, and followed up simply to cross it off my list. I never heard back.
