Round 1: The interview began with compliments on the website and a "Tell me about yourself" question to explore my background and alignment with the role. Jennifer asked about my comfort with remote work, visa sponsorship needs (OPT, requiring H-1B after August), and rated my Python and SQL skills out of 10. The interview concluded with scheduling a coding interview and encouragement to stay in touch for future opportunities. (They sponsored for this role btw)
Round 2: The SQL interview covered five tasks where I demonstrated logical thinking, though a few had minor syntax issues. Matt asked about my background, reasons for applying, and the transition from data scientist to data analyst. He also inquired if this would be my first full-time role. He shared insights about the company and his responsibilities before setting expectations to hear back mid-week.
Got amazing feedback mentioning how I needed more work ex (Understandable).
Loved the experience
