The process took 1 day. I interviewed at FINRA in Jan 2010
Interview
Was brought in as an internal employee referral. The interview process was very general. No technical questions about regulatory/securities industry knowledge. Spoke with 2 managers and the Director for about 2 hours. Was called a few days later and offered the position. Negotiations on salary were not possible. Salary was not the greatest, however for the hours you actually work, can't complain.
The interview consists of a lot of technical questions about 15c3-1 and 15c3-3 rules. It was two rounds with examination directors. I recommend studying on the rules and be prepared to a writing exam. They want someone with proper grasp of the English language.

Applied 4 times with management references. Finally got one interview. The same person interviewed me for the 2nd and 3rd round. Then I was ghosted. No notice about what happened. Of course, after a month I assumed I was not selected.
