Found a posting on indeed.ca which led me to their company website where I filled out the online application. Shortly after I received an email requesting to schedule a time for a telephone interview which lasted 20 mins. After the phone interview I was sent a personality test to be completed online. I was then invited to their headquarters along with 8 other candidates for three 5 min interviews with different people in the company, wonderlic test and presentation about the company by the VP of manufacturing. I have done my research prior to the first round of interviews so I was very much impressed with the company already. During the presentation by the VP of manufacturing, he made it clear that the company was looking for new graduates not specifically for the role of a QA tech (since according to him they already have a great QA team), but for someone to learn quickly and move up within the company. I was invited along with 5 other candidates for a 2nd round of interviews which they said would take about 2 hours. Keeping what the VP of manufacturing said during his presentation in mind, I did not expect to be asked so many questions about my future career in QA. This was a bit confusing for me since I was under the impression that this would be a starting role and then I would be able to move around after into another role. Overall, every person I met in the company was very kind and seemed like they were passionate about their jobs. I would probably apply again in the future.
