      Post Production- Video Editor Interview

      3 Jan 2021
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Toronto, ON
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at FCB Global (Toronto, ON)

      Interview

I got interviewed by 4 different people at different times as a part of the hiring process. They are all basically asking the same questions over and over again, which is extremely unprofessional and a time waste. During two of my interviews, I continuously got asked where I am “originally” from, where my accent is from, how cute my accent is, by this white female early 20s production coordinator and the white Dop. Like that is not even legal to ask or make people feel otherly during an interview or at the job. Plus I have been living in Canada for over than 10 years since high school. Their company clearly has poor treatment to people of color and lgbtq+ members.
