I applied through university. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at ExxonMobil (Oklahoma City, OK) in Sept 2015
Interview
There was an interview on campus. The questions were mostly personal and about items on my resume. They didn't act like they were trying to grill me. They were polite and seemed genuinely interested in what I had to say. It was a very comfortable interview, not like they were trying to put any extreme pressure on.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at ExxonMobil (Lafayette, IN) in Sept 2022
Interview
I had a brief interview at a career fair. The hiring officer was very cordial and friendly. She asked good questions that helped me easily explain where i stand out as a candidate.
Not a great experience. They know they pay a lot of money so they don’t care what you think or how they can help you improve. They only want the best and that mean 4.0 to them.
Very lengthy. Took about an hour and the interviewer was so uninterested. At some point it felt like I was talking to myself. I did not enjoy the interview at all.
