      PhD Chemical Engineer Interview

      18 May 2016
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Pittsburgh, PA
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at ExxonMobil (Pittsburgh, PA) in Sept 2015

      Interview

This was an on campus interview. The interviewer was very easy to talk too and engaged in the conversation. A few questions surrounded my research, but most was focused on behavioral questions. It was a very standard interview. As a PhD candidate, they are more interested in learning about the skills and knowledge you have, and how that can be applied to their current research.
