The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Express in Jun 2009
Interview
The first group interview consisted of about 5 people and was very informal. Mostly generic interview questions and an improvised sales pitch at the end. The second interview consisted of only myself and one other applicant. There was some customer/sales associate role play. Dress fashionably, not business unless you're interviewing for a management position. There were multiple questions on fashion trends in the second round of interviews.
I first applied online, and then I got an interview date and time, and then I went into the location for the interview. After that I just waited for a little bit of time and then I was sent an offer that I signed
Applied online, interviewed in person the next day. Interview was basically a vibe check. More important to apply during peak season (early spring or early fall) when they're hiring the most. Make sure you have availability on the weekend.
Easy and straight forward interview. They ask for your availability and if have fashion experience. Also, asks about previous sales and customer service experience. The job itself is not hard at all.
