      Interview

The interview process itself was smooth — the interviewers were very kind, polite, and professional, and I had a positive experience. However, my concern lies with the post-interview process. It has been almost a month since I completed two rounds of interviews, yet I haven’t received any update. At the time, I had another offer from a smaller company for a good role. While I was exploring better opportunities, I chose to interview with Experian. After completing the interviews, I didn’t hear back for a week. Since I didn’t want to lose the other offer, I called the HR for an update. She told me the interviews had gone well, the feedback was positive, and asked me to wait 2–3 days. I waited patiently, but after a week with no communication, I followed up again. This time, I was given another contact number. When I reached out, my calls went unanswered, and even my formal message received no response. While I understand that rejection or delays are part of the process, ghosting feels highly discouraging, especially for a fresher like me. A simple update — even if it were a rejection — would have been far better. Unfortunately, this lack of transparency made me lose out on the other opportunity as well, which feels both unprofessional and unfair.
