Applied via LinkedIn. Got contacted by a Sr. Corporate recruiter and had a phone conversation. Was asked to complete a timed online Python assessment, which turned out also had JavaScript questions. It was not a good assessment, to say the least. The assessment contained mostly trick questions about how the languages handle certain weird (and uncommon) statements. Excella should definitely change the assessment provider!
Regardless, even though I thought I didn't do that well in the assessment, I was called for a 1,5 hour in-Person technical interview at the Arlington office. The technical interview went well and the Python lead informed me that I had "passed" the technical portion of the hiring process and that I will be called in the next few days for behavioral and company fit interviews.
I reached back to the recruiter a couple of times over the next week. Finally, got a call after about two weeks informing me that they were not going forward.
