It first begin with talk about your research, and hiring manager asking details when you describe your projects. And then ask more techinical question like what tools you used to deal with datasets. And ask a lot about machine learning stuff and how you applied this to your projects.
I applied online. I interviewed at Exai Bio in Mar 2022
Interview
The interview was strange in that they simply asked about the tasks I dealt with on a daily basis. Given that they didn't have automation engineers in-house, it didn't seem like they knew enough to ask the relevant questions. They didn't seem to have a great idea of what they were looking to accomplish with automation aside from a vague request for an extraction method ASAP. Other than that, it was simply a conversation about general lab work.
