      8 Dec 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Brazil

      Application

I interviewed at Everly Health (Brazil)

      Interview

Interview process was structured and fair, with technical challenges, behavioral questions, and a collaborative coding session. Feedback was constructive and the experience felt transparent, supportive, and engaging overall for candidates.

      Developer Interview

      11 Sept 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Austin, TX
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Everly Health (Austin, TX) in Sept 2018

      Interview

Phone screen with a recruiter followed by a phone screen with the CTO, followed by an in person interview with multiple people on the team in 3 separate meetings: one with more junior members of the team (engineering and QA), one with a product manager and an engineer, and the last with the CTO. In the interviews with two people, they asked questions across one another in a way that is confusing (one non-technical, then jumping into a technical question, back and forth). They sent along a technical challenge (~3-4hrs), but they didn't review it or ask about it.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

How would you handle a technical stack where there are many services that need to work together? How do you handle the seams between them?

      Software Engineer Interview

      2 Feb 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Everly Health in Jan 2017

      Interview

I had a rather unpleasant phone interview experience with Everlywell. I applied via Indeed and got a response quickly. The interviewer was pleasant, but he asked me if I was married and if I had children. Since I am female, and these questions can be used as discrimination against women, I felt rather uncomfortable. (Goes against EEOC) Additionally, the interviewer asked me over the phone if I would come in the following week for an in-person interview. Then, the week later, they rescinded the offer to come in. All job hunters are rejected at some point and I don't take that personally, but I found it rather odd that they'd specifically tell me during a phone interview that they want me to come in for an in-person interview, keep me waiting, and then change their mind for no apparent reason.
