Strange. On the video chat, interviewer had his camera on only to show his face once and turn it off with the excuse that it might slow the internet connection of the chat. The conversation itself was strange - interviewer said he didn't know anything about the position or the next steps, he's just doing an interview. And he had a strange smile, like the fake people in the movie The Truman Show. There's something shady about this company and I almost feel like maybe...this wasn't a job interview but a sales pitch.
Initial phone interview, followed by two or three more interviews with recruiters, and finally the interview with someone from the company. The whole process lasted about a couple weeks and many meetings were video calls through zoom.
Very robotic, questions were all scripted, interviewer asked weird questions like “are you ready to take off”. She also turned of her camera so I was staring at nothing the entire time.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Everlight Solar in Sept 2022
Interview
There was 4 separate behavior interview rounds. Two with someone who turned their camera off and only spoke from a script. The other two were links to online personality tests. There was no personalization during this process.
