I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at European Endowment for Democracy (Brussels) in Nov 2023
Interview
Process was fairly straightforward, first a written assessment then a panel interview. EED accommodated a remote interview. The panel had 4 people on it and the questions were tough, but fair.

Question 1
Asked about language skills as described in the job ad
The hiring procedure from the moment of applying until getting a job offer took around 4 months. The first and eliminatory part was the test consisted of 4 job-related tasks, which was shared by e-mail and timed (max. 2 hours).
As a final step, a small number of most successful candidates was invited to an in-person interview in Brussels, with a panel of 5 people. All travel costs were reimbursed. The interview took about an hour and I got a job offer already during the following week. Interview questions were all job-related and quite technical. Overall, my interview experience with EED was very good. :)
