      Frontend Developer Interview

      2 Jun 2022
      Anonymous employee
      Melbourne
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Eugene Labs (Melbourne) in Nov 2021

      Interview

It was a very quick process, I had a take home test which was capped at 4 hours max, then a dev interview where they ask me questions around the decisions I made while doing the test, my thought process around what I would do if they ask me to implement this or that feature. I blanked out at some point, but instead of ridiculing me they gave me pointers and helped me to find the answer myself. After that there was a quick chat with the CTO and CEO, mostly around culture fit. From first interview to the offer it took around 1 week.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Name 3 things you would expect to see in a well architected system? How do you test your code? Tell me about the kinds of environments you have been most successful in. Why do you think we're a good fit for you? Tell me about a time when you had fun on the project
