Really awkward, because the interview is through an automated calendar system it feels very cold. On top of that, the recruiter was late to the 30 minute interview and during that time period I realized there was no way to get in contact with them. I felt like they didn't read my resume very well and I was confused by the questioning around my experience. They explained they were looking to higher for higher level positions, that Etsy does not hire more junior level roles, but they'd let me know when any became available. (This came across as disingenuous) They offered advice but just ended up spitting out a very generic keyword description of product design. Honestly, it felt extremely lazy, like they did not read anything. If the recruiters don't care how they treat others it makes me wonder about the company. I normally am not compelled to leave a glassdoor review but this recruiter call left a mark.

The process felt very templated. No feedback throughout. Just a series of questions they can choose from. I wouldn't say it was my favorite but I see why it's valuable to judge everyone equally.
