I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Estech (Plano, TX) in Jan 2019
Interview
In person with 5 people and exec follow up, good questions and interaction with team members. Application screening: This is the first step in the interview process, where the employer reviews the candidate's application and resume to determine if they meet the basic requirements for the position. Phone screening: If the candidate's application meets the basic requirements, they may be contacted by the employer for a brief phone interview to discuss their qualifications and interest in the position. In-person or virtual interviews: Depending on the company's location and preference, the interview may be conducted in person or virtually. The interviews may be with one or multiple interviewers, and they may involve behavioral, technical, and/or situational questions. Skills assessment: Some companies may require candidates to complete a skills assessment or test to assess their competency in a specific area relevant to the job. Background and reference checks: The employer may conduct a background check on the candidate to verify their employment history, education, and criminal record. They may also contact the candidate's references to get more information about their work ethic and performance.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Estech (Plano, TX)
Interview
Panel of about 9 people of whom thought to be a group of engineers. Turns out it was 7 interns who did not hold the position I was interviewing for, one full time Web Developer, and then the actual colleague I would be working with day to day. I was soft-balled easy questions that got convinced the panel that I didn't need to take a technicals skills test. Talked to my direct report who was very agreeable at the time...
Then onto the personality test...
Now, I have no issues passing these kinds of tests, they are easy and generally even the math and english portions are easy enough after being out of school for 10 years, but... I almost bailed on the whole interview process because of how long, monotonous, and ridiculous this specific personality test was. Like others have said your fate lies in the hands of this personality test which is old and antiquated, just like the company, so it makes sense.
In the end it turns out I was a good fit skills-wise for the company, culturally that is not the case.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Estech (Dallas, TX) in Aug 2017
Interview
I submitted an application through a recruiter. The next step was straight to an in person interview with a panel of their development team and the team lead. After the panel I took a short technical test with pen and paper. Then I immediately met with the hiring manager and talked to him for a few minutes. After this initial meeting, interview and technical assessment which was all in the same session I was asked to submit to a background check and to perform a basic employment personality assessment. A week later I was given an offer and I accepted.
