      CAD Drafter Interview

      14 Sept 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Fremont, CA
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Essai (Fremont, CA) in May 2015

      Interview

The interview was conducted by an interviewer in a meeting room of 15 persons capacity. He cracked up a joke to break ice and made me comfortable and relax. I was fresh out of undergrad then. With common questions like - 'Tell me about yourself', and ' What senior project did you do and explain?", it went on for 15 mins, and the conversation was ended with "sharing our hobbies". Then I was asked to model the drawing provided at the cubicle workstation. It wasn't that complex but only a little tricky at best. Definitely a smart choice of design tho! - which I realized when I got back into the car and fled empty-handed.
