I had two interviews, where I had to present one of my papers and they wanted me to present an idea on how I will address a particular research question. There was also a writting excersie, which was a bit weird to be put on the spot to read their work and write. They were trying to guage my interest in the profile, which was not much and most likely they understood it by the end of the interview process.
