Interview
Had an initial interview with HR staff, which went well. They told me they were impressed and would schedule a second interview with my potential future Supervisor and coworkers. When the second interview started, it turned out that the Espey people attending were from a different department and were interviewing candidates for a completely different role than the one I had applied for. They said they would inform HR of the mistake so we could schedule an interview with the correct people. HR didnt contact me for several days, then told me they had decided not to move forward with my application.
Sorry to hear about your experience! We had simultaneous openings and your deep engineering background made you a better fit for our engineering opening. Our Program Manager opening was looking for deeper program/product management experience.
