The process includes 3 interviews.
1, Interview with the leader of the department. The leader described the tasks of the department in general, then gave me the details related to the vacant position. After this we went through my resume and asked me about the specifics of my former jobs which were related to the offered position. My impression was that he wanted someone in the department with a slightly different background to widen the knowledge available within the department (to have different point of view), and will to learn what is neccessary to do the job. Finally I had to do a test including some trivial mathematical and programming quation. Based on the quations it was about asses the common sense of the candidate. The interview took about one and a half hour.
2, Interview with the HR department. It was a sort of personality test, to check if I am not a psycho. It took about 15 minutes.
3, Interview with the executive director. It was rather an introduction to the director by the would be proffesional leader, since I was not asked any relevant question by the director.
