Applied online and was contacted by a recruiter the following week to schedule a phone interview. The phone interview lasted 30 minutes and was very informative about the company, the role itself, and gave me a chance to explain my background and career goals. I was given the impression that I would be contacted for an in-person interview and would hear back in the next few days. As I am an HR Professional, I sent out a follow up email to thank the recruiter for speaking with me and then sent another email following the date in which he said I'd hear back. The process went downhill from here as I never got a single response from either of my follow up emails and it was radio silence following the initial phone interview. It's extremely unprofessional to ignore follow up emails after an interview and makes me feel as though I wasted time interviewing for such an unprofessional organization.
