I applied online. I interviewed at Epiroc (Pitt Meadows, BC) in May 2026
Interview
Interview process was very slow, i had initial HR screening after a month followed by a lengthy techincal take home assignment which took 2 whole weeks of my time to complete.
Cannot expect HR to reach out for the next step, you need to send multiple follow ups.
Two interviews one with operation manager and one with technical panel. I got till the operation manager interview- a quick call, non technical and got rejection after that, bcz they had someone else already in thier mind(said by the HR)
Unless you are reffered by someone or know someone in the organisation, I would say donot go through the pain of applying and doing the technical assessment, while you dont get to talk to the tech panel even though your assignment work was great.
There is 2 technical round for experience Candidate one from payroll and 2nd round taken by Client. After completing tool test was given. Comparing technical round tool test was very good
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Epiroc in Dec 2025
Interview
The interview process felt disorganized and unprofessional from start to finish. After applying, I eventually had an initial HR call. Some time later, I was supposed to receive the next step, but due to communication issues on their side, I did not receive it until after multiple follow-ups.
I then spent significant time completing the technical challenge and submitted it promptly. HR acknowledged it and said they would follow up soon. However, over the following weeks, I had to follow up repeatedly and received little to no meaningful communication. Eventually, after roughly a month, I was told they had moved forward with another candidate.
I fully understand that companies choose the candidate they believe is the best fit. Rejection itself is not the issue. The issue is the lack of communication, lack of respect for a candidate’s time and effort, and the feeling that follow-up emails were simply ignored. After asking candidates to complete a time-consuming challenge, the company should at least provide timely updates and basic professional courtesy.
Overall, the process came across as arrogant, poorly managed, and inconsiderate. I would not recommend investing serious time in their interview process unless they improve how they communicate with candidates.
